The CSUF Titans’ “Forensics (speech and debate) Showcase” is an annual tradition that, this year, consists of the presentation of individual speech events and performances and one public debate featuring the members of the Cal State Fullerton intercollegiate speech and debate team. Student competitors on the speech team will perform various speech events, including a platform speech, an impromptu speech and an interpretive speech. Four members of the debate team will also participate in a shortened, audience-friendly version of a policy debate round featuring two teams of two debaters and a facilitator. The competitors will debate a policy topic currently relevant in American culture.

The students presenting speeches or debating are all current undergraduate students at California State University, Fullerton, enrolled in HCOM 138, 338 or 426, and members of the intercollegiate competitive speech and debate team.
