Guadalupe Solis is a bilingual licensed SLPA and a first-generation college graduate from California State University, Los Angeles. She received her B.A. in Communicative Disorders and then went on to complete her SLPA certification from Loma Linda University. She is passionate about providing therapythrough an intersectional lens to ensure that communication is accessible to all regardless of language, socioeconomic status, or diagnosis. Since graduating Guadalupe has continued to partake in research projects with CSULA and will be presenting at CSHA Convergence 2022. She has also focused on providing support and building community with other first-generation professionals through social media. Her interests include augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and bilingualism. Currently, she is working at a pediatric private practice in Claremont, CA.
