Director of Global Publicity
Rebecca Wolfson currently serves as the Director of Global Publicity for Universal Pictures Home Entertainment (UPHE). In this role, Rebecca oversees publicity strategies and initiatives for UPHE’s Blu-ray, DVD and Digital releases primarily for titles form the studio’s acquisitions business and third-party partnerships, as well as global publicity for Universal 1440 Entertainment and new release product from Universal Pictures, and Focus Features.
During her tenure, Rebecca has led more than 100 publicity campaigns. She has been instrumental in executing some of Universal’s biggest home entertainment releases including F9, Jurassic World, and How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.
Prior to joining Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, Rebecca worked at one of the world’s leading global communications companies Hill + Knowlton Strategies. She was responsible for the day-to-day management and campaign execution for leading clients including Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Target. In her role, she led Fox’s coveted Cleopatra 50th Anniversary campaign and helped to launch all City Target locations in Los Angeles.
Rebecca holds a BA from the University of California, Irvine, where she served as the school mascot and second president of AEPhi’s Beta Kappa chapter.
